Ismail Bekkaoui has joined Afrique Advisors as government relations associate and strategic advisor.
Ismail has developed significant experience in assisting companies, international investors and public and private institutions in their international development, restructuring projects, as well as in political or economic lobbying issues in the MENA and Europe region. In particular, he assisted various entities by diagnosing potential projects and highlighting opportunities.
As Director of Operations, he advised a European personal development company on its programming and its strategy to penetrate the Moroccan market. He also assisted an American company in its development strategy in the MENA region.
In addition, Ismail acted as a consultant for the World Bank to lead and help organize a project to promote women's entrepreneurship in the MENA region that brought together hundreds of participants from the Middle East and North Africa. In addition, he was also mandated to carry out and implement a strategy for a major scientific project in Morocco that brought together more than 15,000 people.
Before returning to Morocco, Ismail worked as a financial advisor and auditor in Paris, France, after doing his MBA at ESLSCA Business School in Paris, and receiving his undergraduate degree in Economic and Financial Expertise from UPEC, also in Paris. Ismail is fluent in Arabic, English and French.
